how are you all doing? Are you enjoying the first signs of spring? I always have to smile when I hear the first birds sing and the first flowers blossom. Oh, and most of all when the first sunbeams meet my face, my mood brightens up instantly. Today though, is a rather dull day and on top of it all, I have to stay in bed, because I feel slightly sick. Nonetheless, I tried to make the best of it and collected my current beauty wishes for you. Two of those products are already on their way home to me. I cannot wait to show them to you all and create a spring look with them. The upcoming warmer seasons are all about flowery, warm and rosy colours and lipstick-wise it’s all about nourishing formulas with a sheer coverage to just enhance your own lip colour. A beautiful reddish to orange tone for the lips is also a favourite pick of mine. I love everything that brightens up the whole look in a classic and easy way. For me make-up is all about outlining all your beautiful features and letting the inner beauty shine through. My favourite lipstick picks are the ‘Rouge Dior Baume‘ in the colour ‘Belle De Printemps‘ from their ‘Kingdom of colours‘ collection and the ‘Rouge COCO‘ by ‘Chanel‘ in the colour ‘COCO‘. Both lipsticks have a slightly orange tinge. The huge difference is that the ‘Dior‘ one is very sheer and the ‘Chanel‘ one has up to full coverage. I hope to be owner of both during the upcoming seasons. For my cheeks I think a rosy shade will do and I guess the packaging of the ‘Chanel Blush‘ is just to pretty to be true. As you may already know, I am all about highlighting and sculpting to outline the features of my face. I am currently using a ‘Bobbi Brown’ highlighter and bronzer, but who wouldn’t say yes to such a beautiful ‘Bronze and Glow‘ palette by ‘Charlotte Tilbury‘. I cannot wait to get my hands on this one. Moving on to the eyes, I am totally in love with the ‘Dior‘ palette in the colour ‘House Of Pinks‘ from the ‘Kingdom of colours‘ collection. I can already imagine to create a beautiful rosy eye and pairing it with a summery outfit. Last but not least, I really wish to own this perfume by ‘Tom Ford‘ any time soon. The smell of ‘Mandarino Di Amalfi‘ is just so divine, but the bottle… oh so expensive. We’ll see which of those products can be found in my bathroom at the end of summer, but for now please warmer seasons arrive fast.
Enjoy your Friday night and have a great start into the weekend.
