My Favourite Outfits of 2017

Favourite Outfits of 2017

Before I post my first look of 2018, I thought it would be fun to do a little review. What better way to do so, than having a peek at my favourite outfits of 2017.  I think I want to make this a yearly thing. It just seems like a fun way to look back at how a person’s style evolves.

My outfits in 2017 definitely incorporated a few new style pieces that I was hesitant to welcome into my wardrobe the previous years. The outfits incorporated skirts, a lot more dresses, new fabrics like silk and also some new colours like khaki, baby pink, and red. Most outfits combined casual and chic fashion aspects which basically comprise the philosophy of my style. I was as sure as never before when it came to buying clothing for myself. My mantra was and still is finding mostly plain pieces with the added detail through shapes and cuts.

Overall, I think my most worn piece this year must be my Comme de Garçon Play Shirt. Well, after the many pairs of jeans, obviously. Finally, I am very excited about what 2018 will bring. I can already picture myself being even a little more daring than before and taking my timeless style to a whole other level. Who is with me? 2018 will definitely get exciting. I surely already picked a rather daring pair of glasses the past week. They might as well also make a good accessory to be added to my future looks.

Which of the outfits is your favourite?
