I cannot even believe that it has been two weeks already since I first arrived in Paris. Two weeks. Time flies. The past two weeks have been a whirlewind. So many new impressions, new faces, new names and a new city, country and school to adapt to. After living in Rotterdam and Milan the past years, I felt like I knew the drill. Yet, every time the experience of arriving somewhere new to live is different. Paris in four months – that is basically the motto I am living by here. I can already feel the time rushing by. Hence, I want to embrace each moment as much as I can.
I am already so grateful for the kind souls I got to know so far, who have made every single day of the past two weeks a beautiful experience. I barely needed time to adapt to my new circumstances and I have been feeling happier than in a long time over here. It might be because of the warm welcome, one of my best friends living close by, my other beautiful friend’s family home I am staying at, the beautiful city I am living in and the new friends I have made at the school of my dreams or maybe it is because I have learned to adapt and I have grown as a person. These days I feel like I am more flexible and very open-minded towards new circumstances and I have learned to trust the process as much as I possibly can as in the process there is certainly more growth.
Anyways, I am so ready for everything these four months throw at me and I cannot wait to have a beautiful time, taking every single day as it comes. Yes, I started a new chapter.
