Ubud
Alchemy
This raw vegan cafe in Bali provides you with the most beautiful space to spend your time in. The raw cakes I had there were just so good. However, I was most excited about creating my own smoothie bowl. It was so much fun selecting the fruits and the smoothie to my preferences. I was even able to add some of that raw cake as a topping to my bowl. This is definitely my favourite place in Ubud. It’s a must-visit and I cannot wait to be back.
Kismet Restaurant & Lounge
This cute place has such cool vibes. It’s definitely the best place to enjoy a casual dinner and drinks. It offers vegetarian and vegan options and I must say I enjoyed the most heavenly curry dish there. By night it definitely gave me all the treehouse vibes and by day, I would say it’s a very suitable place to get some work done while enjoying a delicious smoothie.
Mudra Café
I simply love Mudra Café. This is the place I tried my first uber fresh coconut water ever. Life-changing. The curries there are amazing too and the smoothie bowls are simply delicious and rich in flavour and texture. So, I highly recommend you to drop by.
Kokolato Vegan Gelato
Vegan and healthy ice cream made out of coconut meat. Well, yes, you read that right. I wish I would live around the corner. I couldn’t resist making it a ritual to drop by every evening whilst I was in Ubud. The store is right across the street of Mudra Café. Perfect for the optimal dinner and dessert combination. My favourite flavour? Everything chocolaty.
Canggu
Give Café
This cute place was located right up our street. It serves traditional Balinese foods. Everything is vegan and the whole restaurant works as a not for profit organisation. I so enjoyed my traditional dinner there and was amazed by the flavours. I want to drop by for breakfast or brunch next time I am in Canggu to try the, a little less traditional but very much to my liking, brunch options. Think smoothie bowls and french toast. You know me.
I Am Vegan Babe Café
If you are meaning to try the best vegan cinnamon roll with cream on top, that’s the place to go. It was truly mind-blowingly delicious. The blue smoothie bowl, I enjoyed at I Am Vegan Babe was out of this world too. So, please, don’t make yourself regret it, and drop by yourself.
The Shady Shack
I think I must term this one my absolute overall favourite. This place is just the cutest, with its whimsical garden and the shack next to it. I went there so many times, that I even forgot to count. I can only recommend the dinner bowls, the smoothies, smoothie bowls and all their raw sweet treats. I am certain that I enjoyed the most dreamy chocolaty and nutty smoothie bowl there. Oh, and I am still talking about the raw doughnuts and raw bars to my friends. They must have left a positive impression.
Mad Pops Ice cream
Get ready for the best ice cream in the whole wide world. Yes, even slightly better than the one in Ubud. Mad Pops is just the funkiest store with the coolest vibes, serving the most delicious vegan coco-milk-based ice cream. Yes, I had two scoops every night for one week straight. No regrets. It was just soo good. My favourites? A regular cookie flavour and the tur
Motion Café
Motion Café is a nice place to order juice and work away. It has a good internet connection and just the right vibes to make it your workspace. Be prepared you’ll definitely be surrounded by some more digital nomads who think the same. It just made me feel so inspired.
Café Organic
Café Organic is a very cute space to have brunch or lunch in. I can only highly recommend ordering sugar cane juice when you are there. It’s simply the best thing. For food, I’d recommend the toast with chocolate and cashew spread or the pancakes. Pure bliss. I am not so much a fan of their smoothie bowls but everything else, including the smoothies, is so so delicious.
Matcha Café
Cute place, good vibes, nice working spot and delicious smoothie bowls. How dreamy does the bowl on the first picture below look, please? I loved spending some time there and I will definitely be back. Oh, and be prepared for the matcha vibes. Just saying.
Peloton Supershop
Slightly regretting I only went there on my last night in Canggu. I’ll be back though. The dinner I had there was so delicious and my friends were amazed too. Actually, they are still talking about it weeks later. I loved the vibes too and I cannot get over the incredible flavours. Bali just makes everything taste so good.
