thank you for stopping by and spending some time with me.
I wanted to tell you a little more about myself here and give you a little glimpse into my story. I deeply feel that sharing one’s story is the most powerful way to connect.
So here we go…
I grew up in Mannheim, Germany. Always feeling different from my classmates and never fitting in, as well as never being fully accepted, marked my school years to the point where I was sick and tired of being rejected. However, I didn’t know how to be like them and something nudged me to stay on my own little journey.
I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands to do my Bachelor’s program in 2015. Within that program, I had to do an internship that brought me to Hamburg for the first time. By this point, my mental and physical health were at an all-time low. I already had insomnia for the years leading up to 2017. I felt completely lost and alone. I struggled with my body image and started to control my food intake as well. Luckily, I never took it too far. Today, however, I sometimes visit my inner child to say sorry for the way I spoke to myself at this point. I also completely messed up my hormones by excessively exercising. The only stability that I started to welcome into my life was yoga. I had been first introduced to yoga at the age of twelve but it only started to mean more and more to me at the age of 19.
Reaching the lowest point…
During my three months in Hamburg in 2017, I was really struggling. I was able to be present at my internship, however, I was not able to go anywhere else. The effort was simply too big. Hence, I sat in an ugly little apartment that I had booked last minute, suffering from symptoms that were back then said to be a histamine intolerance and eczema. Just to paint the picture, I woke up every day with swollen and painful eyelids and went to bed with a painful stomach, no matter how much I tried to control my food intake, and how many supplements, and how much medicine I took.
Marking the start of my spiritual journey…
I am so insanely grateful for this moment in time since it guided me onto a spiritual journey through life. In this little apartment in Hamburg, I started to consume as much self-help and spiritual healing content as possible. It marked a new beginning.
My yoga practice and my spiritual growth increased over the years. Towards the end of 2018, I was allowing my body to be properly fueled without restriction. I got my period on a regular basis by then and my hair started to get healthier. My body also started to change which wasn’t the easiest transformation to witness. I was finally turning into a woman at the age of 22, due to finally having the nutritional fuel to allow so. The transformation wasn’t as easy on my mental health. I was in Paris at that time. On top of that, I definitely tried to fit in too much at my newly started Master’s program which didn’t serve me. It was an experience though and makes me appreciate the connections I have today even more.
The biggest transformation period yet…
2019 marked the year of the biggest transformation period. I started my year sick in bed since I over-exhausted myself in Paris. Shortly after I spent my first three months in London, where I deepened my yoga practice a lot. I went to yoga classes almost every single day, soaking up all the valuable information the amazing teachers, I sought out, provided. I also made a new friend who was happy to listen to me, going on about all the spiritual thoughts I was having. At this point, things started to truly change. As my mindset shifted and my journey to my truest self began, I started to naturally attract the right people into my life. Today, I am so grateful for the universe providing me with the most beautiful soul connections.
“I have to mention a certain beautiful human here, who I think is deeply connected to me through energetic realms beyond my imagination. I have never experienced so many synchronicities with another human being. Thank you for sharing this journey, love.”
Deeping my knowledge…
I ended up in Shanghai a couple of months later, where I had a lot of spare time to put towards my spiritual self-study. I learned a lot about astrology, journaled every single day, learned about Human Design, the 16 Personalities, angels and angel numbers, and of course plant medicine.
I traveled to Bali in June 2019 and ended up in an energetic high bubble. Later, I learned that Bali is located exactly where lay lines cross. Lay lines are basically the chakra system of the planet earth. It has been studied that where there is a crossing of those lines, the energy is super high. Hence, no wonder Bali attracts so many spiritual leaders, creatives and yogis. I guess, I also need to mention that my yoga practice was deepened to the next level during my stay in Bali too.
Becoming a yoga teacher…
One day in Shanghai, the universe called me to sign up for the yoga teacher training that I had previously decided to do at one point in my life. I guess the point in time came sooner than expected. I followed my vision and my intuition and in July I was off to Nicaragua to do my 200h Vinyasa yoga teacher training.
There is a whole podcast episode on my teacher training experience on Wild Possibilities. I guess you can imagine how much my spiritual journey was deepened by the place I was in and the philosophy that was taught. I didn’t know how surface level my yoga knowledge was until this point and figured out how much the philosophy became an integral part of my life guiding most of what I do. The human soul connection there was also insane and taught me so much about myself.
I want to mention at this point, I also managed to heal my body on a physical level. The emotional and the physical are essentially one as they are so deeply connected, so my work always has to include both all aspects.
Being called to Hamburg again…
For a second time and rather reluctantly, however, with a good amount of inner trust, I moved to Hamburg again. I stayed. I basically fell in love with the city at second glance. Since the day I arrive, everything falls into place, I got in contact with Reiki, Theta Healing and Emotional Release and joined an amazing Jivamukti yoga studio where I am learning so much every time I attend a class. I started to give workshops and guide people on their own individual paths. So, much more healing has happened since I am here.
I also stumbled upon something that was previously on my vision board. I connected with the plant healing properties of essential oils and with it came a family of beautiful supportive humans who inspire me every damn day.
I can say that life has prepared me in 2019 to go through another very personal crisis in January and February 2020 just to show me how much I’ve grown. I had to realize that I now had the strength and the tools to overcome the task the universe through at me and I only came out stronger on the other side with the deep inner trust that I am fully guided by the universe on the beautiful journey called life. My soul is here to make an experience, resolve past traumas and heal. Believe me, when I say, yours is too.
“Some years back, I told my Mum that I feel like I have so much weight to carry, only to realize in a conversation with an astrologist that it was my soul’s weight which I am here on earth to lift.”
If you kept on reading until here, thank you so so much. I am sending you so much love and light. I am so incredibly grateful.
